The acorn cup is inspired by this enormous oak tree living its best life in my backyard. Every year it yields so many acorns squirrels don't know what to do with them. This oak tree really is one of my favorite features of my yard. The acorn cup comes in two colors. I chose the two colors to reflect how acorns are green early in the season and then they become browner throughout as autumn approaches.
The idea behind this cup is that you use the top as a lid to steep your tea and once you are done, you flip it around and use the lid as a coaster.
This piece is handmade on the potter's wheel. It is food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher safe.
The acorn cup is about 3.5" in diameter and 3.25". It holds 8 ounces of liquid.
