Carved pitcher

Pitchers are one of my favorite pieces to make!

This one sports a round body. Its surface have been carved in intricate details. The loop handle fits two fingers comfortably. I glazed this pitcher with an American shino which breaks in tones of brown. The outside of the collar and the handle is left unglazed to create tactile contrast.  

This pitcher stands at 5.5" tall and is 4.25"  in diameter. It holds 28 ounces of liquid. This piece is food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe.
