This pitcher was thrown from 3 pound of clay from Paoli Clay, a local clay company here in Wisconsin. The pitcher stands tall with a nice curved profile that is echoed by the pulled handles. The spout was pulled further and altered to form a "w" shape that — I think — helps direct the flow of liquid from the pitcher. It is 8" tall and 3.5" in diameter. It holds 32 ounces of liquid.
The glaze is highly variegated with tones of greens, blues, browns, and grays. The pitcher stands on three little individual carved feet.
