This decorative bowl is a one-of-a-kind decorative stoneware bowl and the fourth in the series of Lunar Bowls. The Sea of Clouds bowl exhibits a highly textured surface and a bright blue spiral at the center. The rim has a crater-like texture reminiscent of the moon, and the glaze breaks in a way that gives it a sandy, moon-dust feel. In the blue center, crystal blooms formed during firing—small, flower-like bursts that add extra detail and depth up close.
This bowl is meant for display: on a shelf, coffee table, entryway, or as a centerpiece where people can pick it up and look closely.
