The glaze in this mug changes from matte to glossy as it transitions from smooth to carved texture. It was thrown from a white stoneware claybody and fired to cone 6 (~2232º F) in an oxidation atmosphere.
It is 3.5" tall and 3" in diameter.
This piece is food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.
