Antique concave mug

I threw this mug from 1.25 pounds of stoneware clay. I gave this mug a concave profile. The handle is pulled from a blank of clay I attached to the body once the piece is in the leather hard stage. The glazes I layered on this mug result in a antique look I just love. 

The mugs from this batch are around 3.5" to 4" in height. Their bases are also 3.5" to 4" in diameter. They hold between 12 and 14 ounces of liquids when filled to the brim. 

This piece is food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.
